About This Page:
My first love (when it comes to music) is all things alternative whether it
be dodgy hair metal from the eighties or the music of one of the most amazing bands in the
world, the Guillemots (please check them out using the link)
So what is the main aim for this page I hear you cry. Well I am eventually going to create
minimixes of everything from System of a Down to the Artic
Monkeys - but that requires some new hardware first.
Until then, this page will act differently to the other pages by
giving readers an insight into what is currently rocking my boat, taking
all my money and hopefully introducing them to that elusive "next big thing" at a
time when they can still see the band performing at a venue that only
houses 600 patrons!

WhiteLies
Wow, this band are fucking awesome! Imagine Interpol and The Killers thrown into a blender with a fascination about Death thrown in too.
Rich, Homer and I all went to see them rock the Komedia at the end of September and boy did they not disappoint! The lead singer has a voice that fits the subject matter of the songs perfectly and filled the room, stunning the audience into silence.
The new Single 'Death' is available to download now from iTunes, and can be heard on the band's MySpace page. Head over their ASAP to hear the track and mark my words - they will be big! My tip for the 2009 Mercury Music Prize for sure.
